Description
Sockeye or red salmon is the next salmon species that makes its appearance in Alaska’s Cook Inlet during the summer season. We begin catching sockeyes early to mid June. Sockeyes have a rich red color and a subtle sweetness making it distinct from other species of salmon.
Sockeyes are available whole, or gutted and gilled. All our salmon are bled and chilled in slush ice until they are delivered the following day, boxed and on ice.
Prices and orders are by the pound (lbs).
